Introductory provisions

This page contains the Controller's privacy statement. Please read this privacy statement carefully. The Controller has its registered office at Tuinhommel 15 in (1562 LL) Krommenie, the Netherlands, is registered in the commercial register of the Chamber of Commerce under number 65646681 and bears the name Studio Gyzell. The Controller can be contacted by e-mailing info@studiogyzell.com or calling +31 (0)20 8546 216.

This privacy statement explains how the Controller handles the processing of personal data. It states, for example, the personal data (and categories of personal data) that are collected and the purpose for which the personal data are used. The Controller also states the legal ground for the processing of personal data.

The Controller reserves the right to amend this privacy statement without any explicit notification or approval. The current privacy statement was most recently updated on 18 january 2019. By accepting the Controller's General Terms and Conditions, you also agree to the Controller's privacy statement.

Types, purposes, legal grounds and period of processing of personal data

The processing of your data is based on the following legal grounds: Consent from the person/visitor to have their personal data processed. The processing is necessary to perform the contract and to comply with statutory obligations imposed on the Controller.

The personal data are used to facilitate the sale of the Controller's products, including bags and accessories.

The order form indicates what data are mandatory. These are your name, telephone number, address details, IP address and your payment details.

During the ordering process, you will also be asked to provide your email address. The e-mail address is required to process your order, but is also used to inform you in the future about products or services that may be of interest to you.

Personal data will be retained for a period of 2 years.

The Controller also collects personal data that are physically obtained from you during a meeting: in a pop-up store or during an event, for example. These personal data are the same data as those mentioned above. By providing these data, you also agree to this privacy statement. The collection of these personal data is based on the same legal grounds as those mentioned in the previous paragraph.

The Controller uses cookies on its website. What are cookies? A cookie is a piece of information that a website stores on your computer. It collects basic technical information every time you visit the Controller’s website, such as the website from which you were redirected. This privacy statement applies to cookies and similar technology.  This website can use cookies to provide visitors with personalised information, to collect information and to follow visitors during their visit to the website. This helps the Controller to improve your user experience.

Personal data are processed by companies engaged by the Controller for the performance of the contract. The law refers to these companies as 'processors'. Examples are the company that keeps the accounts or provides the hosting of the Controller's website. The processors act under the responsibility of the Controller.

Your personal data will also be shared with third parties if the Controller is obliged by law to pass on your personal data to competent authorities.
